Preface

BROM BelCal was up to version 2.94 a standalone CMS with availability calendar and booking system, which was specifically designed for apartments and guesthouses. With version 3 were these functions extracted and now are available also as a module. Thus, BROM CMS/BelCal interesting not only for owners of holiday accommodation. A second reason was that now can makes an update of the functions for calendar without an upgrade the entire system.

Installation

The module is basically re-install as any other offered additional module (see Add-ons). The only difference is that during the installation of this module, the system also in the directory .../admin write right must have!

General Description

By installing this extension BROM CMS become to BROM CMS/BelCal. This means that an availability calendar with booking system for holiday accommodation is available. It can adjust a presentation of the calendar to a large extent. But not the availability calendar honors the system, but the complete management of reservations online and fully automatic control for reservations. The calendar is updated immediately after this request or reservation and even if a certain contingent is reached for the period are no longer accepted new postings. This brings not just a time savings for the operator but also of a huge discharge of correspondence.
